Mumbai's Arkade Developers has signed a memorandum of understanding to acquire Woollen and Textile Industries Ltd for ₹148 crore, securing a 14,363.60 square meter parcel in Bhandup West. This marks the listed developer's second strategic acquisition in the area as it consolidates holdings along Mumbai's central corridor.

The transaction aligns with Arkade's portfolio expansion strategy, which includes recent entries into Thane and existing projects like Arkade Earth in Kanjurmarg. Chairman Amit Jain emphasized the company's focus on value-driven developments, citing a 39-year track record of 31 completed projects totaling 5.5 million square feet.
